Padua has hosted the last event of the ambitious project IEE Covenant capacity, funded by the European Commission and coordinated by ICLEI Europe, an association of local authorities' for sustainability.
On April 15, the Environmental Department of the Municipality of Padua hosted the final match of the Project and on 16 and 17 April in collaboration with the Municipality of Vicenza -and twinning the IEE funded project CONURBANT- has hosted a two-day study tour guiding participants to the measures already implemented to mitigate Climate Change in the municipal area: 50 officers and directors of local authorities and associations of local authorities from 15 countries of Europe met and had the opportunity to learn how the City of Padua and Vicenza City Council are committing to realize the objectives of the 20-20-20 and its Plan of Action for the Sustainable Energy.
